The Artist
A self-taught artist, Angie Doyle’s art has been described as “beautifully uncomfortable” as she is often seeking the elegance in darkness. She leaves the viewer with the belief that beauty is fleeting and the truth is what’s left behind. Angie resides in West Chester, Ohio where she creates multiple mediums of art.
Always having a deep appreciation for art, music, movies, etc.… Angie did not discover her artistic potential until senior year of high school. Several teachers expressed their delight in her work which led her to study Fine Arts in college at Miami Ohio. After 2 years at Miami painting and drawing Angie could no longer take the confines of the classroom. She left Miami to pursue her own definition of art.
In the years since, Angie has done many commissioned pieces for friends and family but finds it difficult to part with her work. With encouragement from friends and family Angie decided to explore photography as a new medium. She traveled in early 2018 and put together a photo art show that will debut November 10th, 2018. A Rose Gallery was born and Angie looks forward to showcasing her many talents in future shows and displays.
